From me to you. Enjoy.

“When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, “Let us pray.” We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land” – The quote is attributed to Desmond Tutu the Anglican bishop, but I don’t know why I think it’s Julius Nyerere who said it.

Land is the basis of all power & if you have no land, you have no power! Most wars are fought because of lands not bibles, I do not adhere to any of the Western or Eastern religions. Most of them proclaim love but it’s actually a mind control type of thing. One side tells you “accept jesus or go to hell”, & the other side calls you infidel & can kill you, now how does love fit in that reasoning?? The speech is different but the end goal is your death same philosophy. Some people think beheading human being is something new, then what is guillotine? Who invented it? All these wars are authorized by religious people for the control of the world, some serious madness, ego-tripping…

Indigenous people did not/ do not have to read a book to know god (until imposed on them)
. They saw god in everything “To see good in things, you must see god in things!.” They gave thanks to mountains, fish, water, sky, sun, moon, animal ect… because they recognize that the spirit of the same higher being that moves them also moves everything around them.

Subway Crunching

There is a man
flexing
his chest muscles
in repeated jolts
for the entire journey.
I guess it’s an effective workout,
because his pectorals are enormous.
Maybe I’ll try it.
